19th and 20th Sept 2009 saw Escobar Bjj and BJJ Borneo joining up and competing under the Malaysia banner. A big congrats to all who competed and a special mention to Darren Low who bagged the Gold medal in the 100+kg category! Great job Big-D!

Ok fellas…I know it’s kinda late (bout a year), but, this was BJJ Borneo’s 1st FBT Bangkok Open in Sept. 08′:

A huge congratulations to BJJ Borneo’s Heavyweight champ DARREN LOW: Gold (Gi – <100kg). Tho one might have super ‘Orang Utan’ strength, but in BJJ, techniques & leverage are the ultimate key. And Darren’ s one grappler who combines both very well.

Darren was the 2008 Phillipines BJJ International medalist with Gold (Gi- <100.5kg), Silver (No-Gi – <91.5kg) & Bronze (No-Gi – Absolute). Good work brotha!! Pics to be posted soon… ;0)

By the way…here’s the pic of the group in Manila December 2008…which Allen (our coach) forgot to post. Hahaha shorty!!!
